The meaning of life...

is the existance we choose to create for ourselves.

As an individual you can exist as a entity that belongs to the planet. You have infulences on the aparent chaos of destiny. It is only the incalculable sumation of the infulences exerted by the individual and the other entities (forces beyond control - earthquakes etc) that form the equation of life.

Having a philosophical moment.

Rabbit

Rabbit Posted by Hello

That was the month that was...

I known that I have not posted for a long time, but what a month. I have been working very very hard indeed. I have been making time for Archery to get me away from the eternal process of planning, marking and reporting on progress.

Eyerocker has kept me happy with his musings and The Good Wife with her odd questions (in a good way) diverse questions on life.

Half term in two weeks, so I hope to be more verbal then.

Don't Panic, but I think we should...

Just saw this Horizon progam on BBC2 on the reduction of Global Dimming. We are in deep doo doo, what we need is a radical reduction in carbon emissons or we are all toast. And plant more trees, the ultimate atmospheric carbon remover. And in addition we need to invent a solar powered machine that removes carbon from the atmosphere and put them where the most sunlight is.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year all.

One more dinner with the olduns today and some marking / preparation work. Finished my reports last night, just need to triple check them. Back to the 'office' on wednesday, so much to do before then.

Have been coding in Java for fun so that I can keep my hand in!

Survival

Made it through the dense jungle that is a Family Christmas day, olduns did not get too drunk, along with myself. Avoided the brussel sprouts and latested through a game of Trivial Pursuit. Was able to escape when the codeword of 'Corri' reared its head, out of the jungle to freedom and the open net.

Off to Archery this morining :-) after a long absenance caused by the fact that I have to work for a living. But very cold out there 0 - 2 degrees Centigrade (30 - 35 degrees Fahrenheit).

Another oldun jungle to survive this afternoon, but its on a more familiar jungle where I have been before and hidden supplies for the adventure ahead if I need a restbite.

New Year is on its way, I have not worked on school work for a week, so getting a good rest, but will need to spend 3-4 days working before the 5th Jan so that I am on schedule and not in for a punishing first couple of weeks. Between now and then I hope to add sound to a Java project I have been working on for the last 8 months on and off, so a break to the 'fold' of real high powered computing is a nice change.

Have a good Boxing Day all.
