T Minus 2.1...
Before Thunderbirds are go...
Bank Holiday, so spent the morning shooting some arrows. Achieved a sight mark for a 100 yards :-), so money well spent on the carbons. Now I can compete fully at the competition in the next two weeks.
Spent the afternoon watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid on Channel 5, georgous scenery and more poignent after visting Grafton, Utah a few years ago, I will dig out the pics and put them here as soon as I can. I just love the line 'Don't hit your Mother on the head with a shovel, it leaves an impression on her mind.'.
Also updated the Archery Clubs website, just getting used to the features of Cascading Style Sheets.

Archery
Went to the club to shoot today with my new Carbons (http://www.eastonarchery.com/products/target/acc/default.asp) :-), shot 355 on a 80/60 yard 6 dozen round (forgot name!). They flew really well, so I hope that I will be able to get 'Bowman' and hit 100 yards on a regular basis.
Archery is so relaxing, it takes all the stress away from my teaching life, and gets me away from the computer.

Some prose
In the small hours of Sunday morn, silence decends upon this green and pleasant land, as water from its rain filled streams meander their way though town, village and field all is well.
Britian is such a strange place, half country, half city, divided by latitude, united by football, protests are lead by half naked women on horseback, revolutions thwarted by drizzel and the need for Tea, where the leader of the house of commons sits on a wool sack, where ideas are formed in sheds, where you can travel to a different country without a passport, where three countries take the micky out of each other and yet will fight together and where the language sometimes contradicts its own defining rules.

How this works
Finally getting to grips with how blogging works, need to tinker a bit and learn some of the new terminology.
